With the newest update to the TireBalls website we wanted to pay tribute to our good friend and champion Scott Summers.  Scott with the help of his father Wade were part of the beginning history of TireBalls.  A special thanks to Carrie Jo from GNCC for rekindling some old pictures and articles her and her father Dave Coombs had accumulated over the years.  Scott had totally changed the rank and file American off-road riders community and his lofty resume ensures his place in the legends of off-road.  Motorcyclist Magazine was quoted years ago "Scott was known as a real innovator on bikes - He made bikes that people wouldn't think would work win races."  Scott had a natural athletic gift to manipulate bikes 'right out of the crate' faced with some of the most aggressive terrain and win championships.  At a glance some of his accomplishments over a 2 decade riding career;  9 Overall National Off-Road Titles; 4 AMA National Hare Scramble Championships; 5 AMA Grand National Championships; 69 National Overall Victories; 15 National Class Championships; AMA Rider of the year for 1988, 1989, 1990, 1992, 1993 and 1996.
